Ink Mark Making Fundraiser with Penny

Nestled within the beautiful surroundings of Globe 1, a converted weavers’ mill in the heart of the Pennines, join Penny for a gentle and immersive evening of mindful creativity.

This special event is being held as a fundraiser for Umbrella Yoga, supporting the continuation of accessible and nurturing yoga classes within the community.

If the weather is kind to us, there will even be the opportunity to sit riverside during the session, allowing nature and the soothing sound of water to become part of the experience.

This special evening is an invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and explore the meditative beauty of mark making using coloured inks, brushes, and intuitive creative expression.

The session will begin with a short guided meditation and simple breathwork to help you settle into the space and connect with the present moment. From there, Penny will gently guide and encourage you to explore the flowing movement of inks and brushes in a relaxed and mindful way.

You may wish to incorporate meaningful words, phrases, or intentions into your work, allowing the creative process to become a deeply personal and calming experience.

The evening will conclude with you creating your own final piece on a beautiful sheet of handmade paper to take home.

No Experience Needed

This session is open to absolutely everyone.

You do not need to be “creative” or artistic to join — the focus of the evening is not on perfection or outcomes, but on the calming and restorative process of creating.
