Professionals Network

Umbrella Yoga Professionals Network (UYPN) is a knowledge-sharing and peer-support network, focused on the use of yoga techniques for adults with additional needs, and for those who support them.
How does it work?
Quarterly meetings will be hosted online. Sessions will either focus on an opportunity for UYPN members to ask questions and share advice on teaching yoga to adults with additional needs, or there will be a specific topic and presentation. Topics could include: Making yoga accessible to people with specific conditions & Yoga research highlights.
The schedule is below with topics and guest speakers highlighted.
UYPN members will need to register for the meeting to receive the log in link.
Non-UYPN members will be able to register for the meeting for a fee.
Who can be part of the network?
Anyone who completes one of our training courses or workshops – either the 30-hour YTT for adults with LD, or the 6-hour workshop for healthcare professionals – will be invited to join the UYPN.
Anyone with a particular interest in one of the focus topics will be able to join that meeting at a small cost, but they will not be a part of the official UYPN.
